The Authomate extension looks at each web page for the existence of login and password fields to determine whether to display the Authomate icon which allows the user to log in or change password using StrongPass. It does not look at anything else or modify any browser privacy settings. The ability to read and write the data on all the websites is fundamental to what we do. It’s equally fundamental to any other password manager that populates the fields. The extension has permissions to see the fields containing any login/password, but it never retrieves values for any fields other than the ones it is populating. In addition, it has no ability to export that password anywhere.
