The first step is to download the iOS app. You can download the StrongPass Personal App from the App Store on your iPhone. Search for “StrongPass” or “Authomate” and select the StrongPass Personal app for download. Download links are also available from here.


There are two ways to sign up for Authomate StrongPass Personal service:

  1. You can register for the service from the web portal by clicking here. Once your Authomate Account is created you need to register your phone. 
  2. You can also sign up within the app as described below. 



In-App Account Creation and Register Your iPhone


1) Once you have downloaded and installed the IOS app, launch it.  You can swipe left to see an overview of StrongPass features. Click on the "CREATE A NEW ACCOUNT" button.


Fill in the "NEW ACCOUNT" form and enter your name, email and password. You must read and accept the Terms of Service and the Privacy Policy before continuing.

After confirming your password, press CONTINUE to proceed.


2) Next you will be prompted to select and confirm a 6-Digit Numeric passcode to unlock StrongPass. If you prefer an alphanumeric password or a swipe pattern to unlock the app, click on “Passcode Options”. 


3) You will receive a verification email from Authomate that will contain a link for you to click to verify new account creation. Once your account is verified, you will receive a “Welcome Email” from Authomate listing your Personal information and links to download the browser extensions for Windows and Mac. 


Important Note: Your device will not be activated until you verify your email.


After you verify your email address by clicking on the link in the registration confirmation email, enter your passcode to log into the app. You will be prompted to email your Recovery QR Code. The Recovery QR Code is used to restore your app data if you lose or replace your smartphone. The Recovery QR Code should be secured and kept safe.

Click "Next" to send the Recovery QR Code.


4) If Touch/Face ID is enabled on your phone, you can use it to unlock your StrongPass app. Select Yes or No at the prompt. 


Next the app will take you to different screens highlighting capabilities of your StrongPass app. Once you get to the last information screen click "Start Using StrongPass" to finish the activation of your account.

StrongPass automatically adds your Authomate account under Sites so you can easily log into the website with the app.

Register Your Device 


If you already have an Authomate account you can register your device as described below:

On the "REGISTER DEVICE" screen, enter the Authomate ID (email address) and password you chose when you created the account. You must read and accept the Terms of Service and the Privacy Policy before continuing.

Press CONTINUE to proceed.




2) Next you will be prompted to select and confirm a 6-Digit Numeric passcode to unlock StrongPass. If you prefer an alphanumeric password or a swipe pattern to unlock the app, click on “Passcode Options”.

3) Once the device is registered, you will be prompted to email your Recovery QR Code. The Recovery QR Code is used to restore your app data if you lose or replace your smartphone. The Recovery QR Code should be secured and kept safe.
